How is your Saturn gaming going?

The "How is your Dreamcast gaming going?" is very fun thread idea so I think its about time we also have a Saturn version.

Been playing C&C mostly as of late. I have only played the PC version(looooong time ago) before but I am very impressed with this port. Looks as good on the Saturn as I remember it being on the PC. Only downside being the lack of a mouse and a password save system. On the last GDI mission, can't wait to play NOD.

C&C doesn't support a mouse? That's surprising. There is a Saturn mouse y'know.

last game i played (last week) was Side Pocket 2. Before that I played the port of World Heroes Perfect. Still trying to find (a good deal) of Shinobi Legions and Guardian Heroes.

hmmm... I guess I'm not sure now. Did the mouse ever come state side? I don't remember ever seeing one.

You can probably find a decent deal on Shinobi. It was 'ok'. More comical than anything. Worth a play thru. I wouldn't hold my breath on Guardian Heroes tho lol

ah you're right, the mouse was JPN-only. And apparently, C&C is not supported.

I might have one lying around somewhere, though I think I sold it since it seemed like no games I wanted would benefit from it.

I did keep the Saturn mousepad though and use that at my desk. 8)

I recently beat Rockman 8. I actually really prefer it to the PS1 version. Part of that might be the controller, but the quality of the visuals seems substantially better also. Not to mention the extras. I'm not sure what it is, but recently, if a Saturn controller, or JP Mega Drive 6-button controller is plopped into my hands, I get really happy with what I'm seeing on my TV screen. I might take the next step soon, and try an experiment where I have one of those controllers in my hands, and a SFC or NES game up on the screen.

Probably going to be looking at playing Grandia next. I keep meaning to put some runs into Shienryu for SotM, but have been too preoccupied with Rockman games so far this month.

Most of my Saturn gaming recently has been a mix of Baku Baku and Daytona USA. But I only have those two games with me so that kinda inspires what I play... Granted I am playing both with an arcade stick so Daytona is interesting.

man, I like Baku Baku but the audio drives me nuts in that game. So annoying.
