Was this game over looked as a great SNES classic?

I really enjoyed the game! great graphics, things to make you jump! great first person shooter spec for it's time, multiple quests, awesome elvator music and much more.

The downer was the no save option...When I was younger my grandmother and I use to play it and we would just leave the snes on all night, but due to its age now im little cautious about leaving it on all night. I'm sure I could rip through it if I started it early enough, but with a child and a house to run, I don't get much early day gaming anymore.

Any good memories or thoughts on this game?


Next Week I'll bring up JP2, not my fave but not bad...

jurassic park on the genesis was the true classic, being actually able to play as a raptor going around killing people? what other game lets you do that?

I agree the Genesis one was badass aswell. I wish someone would take the JP series and make a decent game, not the sim city like ones or that new one? the one where it basically sais press B rapidly...just terrible. I'm talking FPS HD graphics, crazy good story line, survival type game! I'd stand in line for that.

Does anyone know what happened with the HL2 mod based on JP that was being worked on for a bit? That was set to be a single player game...

I always wondered how amazing it would be if the makers of Farcry 3 made a Jurassic Park game, heck even in the game bad guys will make references to JP. Saying stuff like "this looks like that island with the dinosaurs"

there's also "The Lost World : Jurassic Park" release in 1997 for the Genesis that is overhead like the first SNES version. you'll probably enjoy that one as well.
