Whats going on with my PSP screen???

Post by ninjainspandex »

So i took my psp out of its case today to play it and I noticed this sort of faint bruise like spot on the screen, its really only noticeable on a white background. I'm very careful with it and always keep it in its case, I have never dropped it and i don't remember bumping it recently. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

I've never seen that before. Cleaning it is a good idea, though. If cleaning the front doesn't help, take off the faceplate. Clean the back of that and, very gently, the LCD screen itself.

I haven't got a clue. Maybe it's moisture related? IDK.

Hmm not sure if im just getting used to it or its going away, now its only faintly noticable on bright white screens. I did open it up and gently massage the area on the lcd screen while wearing powderless surgical gloves. Not sure if this is why its less noticable
