Will the Sega Saturn Twin-Stick work on Dreamcast w/adapter?

I'd be interested in knowing this too, as it'd be great if youcould play both the Saturn and Dreamcast Virtual On games with just the Saturn Twin Sticks.

This is from the "Toys N Joys" website:
These are the official Sega Saturn Twin Sticks used with the Virtual On game released a few years ago. They function the same as the Sega Dreamcast Twin Sticks, and are being offered at a discount price.

Please Note: You will need an adaptor for this controller to work on your Sega Dreamcast, but we will be carrying these on July 15th. Order your Saturn Twin Sticks soon, because the demand for these low-cost high quality items is very high!
So, I guess they say it will work, but I don't know of anybody who has tried it.

*Major bump*
I just bought myself one of those Saturn to Dreamcast adapters AND a Sega Saturn Twin Stick, so I can soon test this out and see if it indeed does work. I sure hope so as then I won't ever need to buy a Dreamcast twin Stick as well! =)

I've heard it works, and seen ebay sales in the past with the sticks and adapter. No personal experience here. I bought the Japanese DC twin sticks, oh man that game is fun with twin sticks! The PS2 version that came out for VO was just bleh in terms of their twin stick playability.

The Saturn Twin Stick and Saturn to Dreamcast adapter both arrive today, just tested it out and...a bit disappointed.

The Twin Stick does work on the Dreamcast, but the game doesn't recognize the controller as a twin stick, but as a normal controller. This mean the right stick replicates button on the standard controls so holding down on it will shoot, etc. There are four different control schemes but none of them make it play like it should on the twin stick, everything is completely mis-configured and there appears to be no way to set custom controls. =(

wow...

That's got to be the adapter's fault then. What a let down :(

I was about to get the same one and try it out, but now I won't... considering.
