What game should I play next?

I've seen a few thread's like this pop up of a person asking whether x or y game should be played first, either because of story or quality issues or just not being able to decide. So I'm intending this to be a sort of "master thread" where those of us with big backlogs (Mine's currently at 110 at last count...) can make it a little easier to decide which game to tackle next.

To kick it off, I must decide which of these two classic RPG's I'm going to go for beating next. Xenogears or Chrono Trigger? Honestly they both look really good, I just can't pick.

That one's almost too close to call, but I'd go Xenogears

More fun combat system, cool visuals, soundtrack, interesting story, cool mech battles, and Citan. Citan is cooler than every single character in Chrono Trigger
