Tetris High Score thread

Having been inspired recently to try my hand at Tetris on NES, I thought it would be a good idea to start a high score thread. I will update the thread with any scores you guys post up, currently any score will get you 1st place! Who is the Tetris King of Racketboy?
Looks like these are the most popular Tetris versions, and I think its fair to keep it to just these ones, there is plenty of variety to make sure you have a platform to play it on. These scores will be from a marathon game, starting at level 0 with increasing speed. Screen shots not necessary, but never hurts to truly show off your score.

That was in Nintendo Power vol. 18, so Nov/Dec 1990. I clearly didn't know the name when I was a kid, so it really popped out at me the other day when I sat down with it.
As far as differences go, the primary difference is that the NES version you get the same pieces in the same order, while the GB varies it up. The GB really takes skill in thinking quickly, while the NES is primarily memorization.

on the gameboy, scoring also depends on which level you start on.
I like it fast so I start on level 9, droppin fast
But if you start on the higher levels the points scoring changes.
You should set the rules where someone should start on level zero and gradually get higher levels and higher scores.
Make it fair.
Cause if we start on Level 9 and just work on getting tetrises, scoring goes a little crazy.

Tetris DX for Game Boy Color is king. It's weird how satisfying it is to see that space shuttle take off.

That is a fair rule, does the same scoring apply to NES tetris? I have been practicing starting on level 8, the first couple of levels are so slow it actually makes it harder for me to play!

I caught most of
Ecstasy of Order last weekend at MAGfest and it ends with...
So, needless to say it's made me want to play some Tetris.

Boo, no superior 2 player Tengen version scores?
Also usually these sorts of threads have a "no old scores" sort of thing where you only post scores earned since the thread started. Though I wonder if I can find the picture I took of a high Nintendo version score I took back in the day that I had originally intended to send in to Nintendo Power.

I think we can give Steve Wozniak a pass.
