So I found out my cousin still has her Nintendo and casually asked her if she wanted to get rid of it (since she really doesn't play it anymore and her boyfriend has one already) I would gladly take it off her hands.
She said she wouldn't mind parting with it but she was actually looking to sell it instead. I said I'd be willing to make an offer but first she'd have to get back to me about what exactly she had and its condition.
I don't dabble much in the value market of retro gaming and my collection probably just barely scratches the size of what some of the people here have, so I have no real feel for what a fair value of a lot like this might be worth.
This is just from what she told me, there may be more but I want to get an idea now of what shoot for (and what is reasonable and what is not).
NES Console (worked last time it was used, which may have been a few years ago)
2 Controllers
Zapper
Power Pad
NES Advantage OR Quickshot (she didn't seem sure in her description of this, just was certain of a "joystick")
Zelda I
Zelda II
Mario Bros/Duckhunt
Some sport game to go with the Power Pad, wasn't sure what
Tetris
So what would be a good min/max to work with based on the current information I have here? I probably won't get anymore info from her for awhile but I do want to have some feel for it heh.

I'd probably throw an offer of 40-50ish for that.

Agreed, but if she is your cousin maybe she will give you a better deal. 40-50$ would be a good price on the street. Games are about 7-10$ each, except for the track pad game, which is probably Mario/Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet combo...that game is $0.99.AppleQueso wrote:I'd probably throw an offer of 40-50ish for that.

That lot would easily get twice what you guys are suggesting in here.

i heard that. try getting those zelda's for less than 10 apiece on the street. console and hookups are 50 alone.Octopod wrote:That lot would easily get twice what you guys are suggesting in here.

Yup, $40 or $50 sounds about right.

Re: How much would you pay for a NES + accessories?
Everything would have to be in darn good condition for me to pay 50 for a console and hookups, maybe if it had a new 72pin. I was thinking since condition is unknown, I would go with garage sale style prices, especially since this is a friendly deal. I would never pay 100$ for that lot...but that's just me. I hear what you mean about the Zeldas, but rest of those could be bought with a little patients for $5 total. So that puts you at about $25 for the games...and an offer for a used untested NES of $25 is fair. The Quickshot is worth about $5 on ebay.stickem wrote:i heard that. try getting those zelda's for less than 10 apiece on the street. console and hookups are 50 alone.Octopod wrote:That lot would easily get twice what you guys are suggesting in here.
Here is a setup with a new 72pin for $89, or best offer, so lets say $80. It comes with more games, albeit the Zeldas are worth about the same. The power pad is a throw away. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Nintend ... 43b51f501f
Again just my opinion and for a friendly "family" deal $50 is fair. If you were to piece this together on ebay and everything was mint, you may hit $100.00...but I would say that would be with a new 72pin in the console.
