Mega Man fans have likely already heard about the new, free-to-download Street Fighter X Mega Man game that was released today, but less than 24 hours from its public availability, one gamer has already stepped up to the plate and delivered a blueprint for victory.
I understand some would rather brave this challenging game on their own, but there is no shame in following the sequence someone else has discovered, I assured you. Have fun out there.

My order is Blanka, Chun Li, Viper, Rose, Rolento, Urien, Ryu, Dhalsim

I still haven't beaten the game yet (...OK, I've never beaten a Mega Man game), but I found Ryu to be a safe starting point.

This is the my order too. Blanka is simple and you get his weapon right away which serves as the game's Rush Coil.

You can also start with Chun Li but you risk missing that E tank in her stage. if you have the Tropical Hazard you can jump back towards it if you missed it.

To be quite frank 9 times out of 10 you're better off just using your standard attack. The benefit of using any power up besides shield and lightning kick are minimal in boss battles.
That being said, start with either chun li or blanka. Chun Li's level is extremely exploitable however with all those regular spawning sections. Ryu's stage also has a section that spawns those bird enemies every time specific tiles enter view and you can definitely exploit that as well.
Or on the other hand I'm just bad at SFXMM
