Wow, picked up this game in the latest Halloween Indie Royale sale. It is very short and tells you as such when you first start it up. But wow if I wasn't scared as s@!t by the time those ending credits rolled.
Basically the game is an open-ended mystery in which you play a man with a flashlight searching through an old pixelated wonderland. You make various choices throughout the adventure and ultimately decide what the story was about after the credits roll. You post an anonymous explanation of your take on the story for other folks that have lived through the tale to peruse.
This game is dirt cheap and ultimately a very satisfying experience. You owe it to yourself to check it out here: http://homehorror.com/
Play with yr. headphones cranked and the lights out and let your imagination terrify your mind.

Re: Home
I loved it too. My only complaint is that it was incredibly short. I think I beat it in under two hours.

The Indie Royale Halloween Bundle is still active as well:kiteJargon wrote: This game is dirt cheap and ultimately a very satisfying experience. You owe it to yourself to check it out here: http://homehorror.com/

I'm most excited for Pathologic, but looking forward to Home as well. I haven't had a chance to play the games yet.

Yeah I haven't had a chance to play the rest of the games in the bundle but Sam and Max is always a good time, and Pathologic and the rest look cool as well. You get all those games for barely more than Home by itself.
