Might have a problem with a user on another retro site.
Like the title says, I may have a problem with a user on another well respected retro site. I bought a lot of games from this user. I sent him my money as a gift. The reason I did this was because he had a really high positive feedback rating with them. So, I didn't see it as a problem. Well, he received my money three days ago and has yet to contact me back. He asked for my address directly afterwords, but that's it. Most people will let you know when they get your items in the mail. I PM'd him to ask him about getting the games out to me and he hasn't even logged on to read the PM. Or, at least he hasn't read his messages. I sen't him a decent amount of money and I would like a little better communication.

Actually, I went to the other site and checked. There is no way for me to tell if he read my messages or not. So, he could be dodging me

You can likely see the last time they logged in...
Either way. Things happen. I wouldn't get worked up yet.

Yeah, give it a week before you start to worry too much, sometimes real life gets in the way.
Keep an eye on his B/S/T thread for any changes as well.

To be honest I'd probably be worried too, just because I always like to know what's going on. Lots of positive feedback is always a good thing, but that doesn't mean they're the best with communication, it could just mean some people are less paranoid than you and I are. haha
I know that real life can get in the way of things, but if they've logged in to check PMs and such then I don't see why they wouldn't have enough time to send a quick message saying something to the effect of "Hey, just wanted to let you know I'll ship on Monday" or "Not sure exactly when I'll be shipping your stuff but I'll keep you updated" to give their customer(s) some peace of mind. Heck, I can't fathom how anyone could not feel the need to do that.
Anyway, I'm not saying they're a bad person and that you should be worried, but I've dealt with things like that before too and I feel your pain. I hope it all works out for you.

Re: Might have a problem with a user on another retro site.
To the OP,
yeah that type of thing pisses me off as well.
It's all well and good that "the person has a life and things get in the way sometimes..." whatever, but unless there's been a serious situation like an accident or family bereavement, etc, (or the guy is running from the law and literally has no time to type a reply
), just a little communication on their part surely wouldn't inconvenience them all that much
Having said that, though, give it a few more days and hopefully by then you might get a reply.
