Why are people so bent on "a new dreamcast!!"?

Sega is out of the hardware game.

Well, the creator of that design was far more interested in shapes and themes than in actually trying to fit it into your entertainment unit with your other systems. Also, the entire description is marred by obnoxious typos.

Is this just some dude with a what if idea and way too much time on his hands? Is this some prototype by Sega? Is he trying to pitch this to Sega? What's going on here?

This is what happens when a graphic designer is:

1)Out of work
2)Been awake for 3 days straight snorting cocaine
3)Actually thinks the Dreamcast will rise again.

Because that is a godawful design and is really ugly.

His poor communication skills combined with form over function design philosophy will likely keep him out of design anyplace anyone with sense would want to work.

Let us burnt out, depressed Sega fans at least keep our shattered dreams.

That said I still thought that concept art was kind of dumb.
