A few questions about the Unisonic Olympian 2600

I got the Unisonic Olympian 2600 from a garage sale with no power cord. I need one and cannot find one ANYWHERE. Help me out?

I also was just curious if this console is rare and about how much it is worth.

do some googling and you can get a general price.

Whether its worth it for someone is a whole other story.

From what I've seen on that vid, the plug looks a lot like the atari 2600 power cord!

I had an old pong clone (that I lost somehow ) that worked with the atari 2600 plug.

Maybe that one atari 2600 plug that you just got (in your other thread) will work with the UNISONIC?

Read up and check the voltage ratings to make sure they match.

I dont want to be the one that messed up your stuff!

I posted about this a few days ago...
I am having trouble finding a power cord for my Unisonic Olympian 2600. I looked online and no one is selling just the cord. Anyone know where I can find one?
Someone also told me to try using the Atari power cord for it. I thought that was such a good idea, but then I tried it and it didn't fit. The Unisonic power cord is smaller than the Atari power cord.

Please help???

I don't know why you had to create a Second New Thread on the exact same topic, it just invites a repeat round of the same Replies.

Anyways the Atari 2600 is 9 Volts DC and uses an "earphone" type connecter so unlikely to fit. A good thing, your console may need a different amp and voltage power brick. Your best bet is take the console to an electrical parts seller such as Frys or Radio Shack and see if they can match it up. The label at the base hopefully will have the input voltage and amp requirement.

I looked at flojocabron's linked video zoomed in, it does look similar to an Atari transformer with a "mono" plug on the end. Unfortunately I cannot make out the information sticker of the volts on the power brick. Again get all this confirmed at the Electrical specialty store, don't take a chance on frying your rare console.

It might be better to post within the last thread you made as opposed to making a new one. Are you sure the power supply jack isn't messed up or anything? I did some searching and it looks exactly the same as a 2600 PSU, not sure why it wouldn't work. If you can't find one you can always mod the system to take a standard power jack.

All 2600s used the same PSU, from the Heavy Sixer down to the Jr. The 5200, 7800 and others all use different power supplies but I doubt that's what you have. Again, if you can't find out what it uses, it'd be a better idea to mod the system with a standard power jack.
