How do you deal with others?

In your general meetings and dealings with others, how do you work?

Personally, I treat people how they treat me. Be nice, I'm nice. I avoid being mean or hostile towards people, but if they directly attack me I do retaliate in some fashion. I'm not the most social person, so until I learn how a person is, I tend to play it safe and talk real casual and calm. If I'm the one to start conversation, I'll do the 'what's your name, where are you from, etc.' or comment on clothing or some such.

I guess I'm kind of a Golden Rule person. Or, as my friends put it, I have a "You don't f*ck with me and I won't f*uck with you attitude."
