DVD burning questions

Post by BananaXX »

I'm not to entirely sure how to go about this nor do I know how to word it so google will tell me what I want to know so here it goes. I want to make a DVD with the original Star Wars triliogy on it, I already have the .avi's and what not. My question is how would I go about burning this so I have a menu where I can select which .avi to play then play the film from there, much like chapters are on any movie but instead of a point in the movie its actually PLAYING a movie. Any ideas how to tackle this?

I've used this program before with great success. You can set up a menu with that will let you pick which file to play. The included backgrounds aren't perfect, but they get the job done if you aren't real picky.

Your problem is going to be about space though. I don't know if you'll be able to fit all three movies on one disc. You'll certainly need a dual layer dvd if its going to happen at all.

Thanks I'll check it out later this week when I go home, my computer lacks a DVD burner. Would size of the .avi's matter since each is only ~850 MB?
