What are your favorite work out songs?

Post by Busomjack »

Nothing quite as motivating as a badass song to get you pumped up for an intense work out. So, what do you like to listen to.

I feel I'm practically invincible so I like to listen to music that reinforces those feelings.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Mouth for War(Pantera)

Symphony of Destruction(Megadeath)

Raining Blood(Slayer)

Head like a Hole(Nine Inch Nails)

Why can't you just post stuff that you like? Like the anime thread, you post and then proceed to say something that is going to alienate a bunch of people who came into the thread. Everyone is entitled to opinions, but if you can't say something nice, don't say it at all. There was no reason to shit on people's opinions about music when the thread should be about musical motivation to work out. Just positing the question and listing your favorites would have gotten the job done.

So now you've painted broad generalizing strokes on anime and rap. I think you'll find that's going to cause even more people to dismiss you and your opinions.

As for myself, when I go on a bike ride, I don't need anything to pump me up and I wouldn't want to deal with sweating all over devices and bouncing them around.

Geez... I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to piss people off I was just trying to show that my taste in work out music is pretty original. Most of my friends at the gym listen to Rap(Rap, R&B, Hip Hop). Just because I don't like a genre of music doesn't mean I hate the people who do. There's a lot more to a human being outside of what music they like.

You know what, fine. I'll edit it out...

I liked to get jacked up and give a middle finger to the government and listen to some real hardcore while I lift weights and run obstacle courses. That way when the revolution comes I'll be ready.

I've never understood people who think R&B and Hip Hop is the same. It's completely different. And why would someone listen to R&B at the gym, if I was to listen to some Sade, Aaliyah or Boyz II Men, it wouldn't be whilst pumping iron!

Personally I listen to a lot of MOP, Onyx or anything produced by the Snowgoons. Or Jedi Mind Tricks. Hardcore stuff that makes you screw your face whilst feeling the burn.

LOL, Slayer, NIN, Pantera, Megadeath original? Those are about as mainstream as it gets when it comes to metal

I don't know how people can wear earbuds while working out. It makes me feel so paranoid and unaware of my surroundings.
