Yttriferous

Post by Luke »

If we have a general sports thread feel free to merge, but once again the live Spelling Bee (ESPN) is as good as free dessert.

It's quite a silly spectacle but it is more entertaining than the NBA finals. Watch while you can!

I thought, for a split second, that this would be a thread about furries.

I first read that as "Furbies" and it made a little more sense.

Sorry to disappoint.

Speaking of disappointing, why didn't I think of strip spelling bee when I was in college?

Yeah, that's what I expected coming into this thread. I'm so glad we don't have any furries here.

You sure? We have a lot of bronies here. Though I've met a few furries before and they were just fine. Just like anything it is the fanatics that are the problem and can make the rest of a group look bad.

It's the same with any group, especially when it gets big enough; there's always a few fanatics on the fringe that scream loud enough to make everyone else look bad. I've known a few friends who were furries, and they were nice enough.

Are furries people who dress like animals, or people who pretend they are a person with animal characteristics. Or is it like cosplay but in pony suits?
