well whats the deal last year they were around $10 complete now they are $30+. is it because of the upcoming release of jet grind radio on xbla? the double pack containing both this game and sega gt 2002 still seem to be cheap so i snagged a copy for $10 shipped, just incase that it too becomes more pricey. its been a game i have been meaning to play.

What the deal is is that Xbox is starting to experience the beginning of collectability. Took a while, but it's something that has to happen to every console.

I'm sure both have an impact on the price. I suggest still going to resale shops and small time game store for xbox games at this time, though ebay is still a viable source for deals but it is fading fast.
I got Sega GT/JSRF for$3.99 at a local store.
I've seen people really want the original release but honestly I like the double pack. 2 games for a super cheap price and some cool trailers. It may have been a pack in game but it almost seems like a collectors edition. Besides the manual is still the original too!

The original release commands a higher price because it is backwards compatible on Xbox 360. The double pack is not compatible on 360 for some reason.

There are pretty big glitches with either version I think.

JSRF needs a digital HD remake.
I do not want to keep and original Xbox just to play this game.

It already runs in 480p all they really need to do is allow it to scale to 16:9 and buffer it up a notch then release it to XBLA, a whole remake for it seems like overkill. How it is holds up pretty well already.

The re release is way cheaper and easier to find than the original release. I think I have read that the original does not slow down as much on a 360 but I can't confirm this since I only own the version with sega GT.
