I thought we had a thread on the topic, but couldn't find one...

Anyway, here's the latest info on the upcoming Contra 4 for the DS:

That IS the big deal. Contra kicks ass. If it looks like Contra, it's gotta be good.

As good as Contra was I prolly wouldn't pay to play essentially the same game without some badass extras like online play and new features to wow me.

The Konami code had better work~ I'm gettin' too old to spend dozens of hours getting used to bullet patterns and other old school stuff. Though since I am still good at the original Contra and III I might fare okay...
I should probably go reserve it but I'm really hesitant to do so since the developer of the game hasn't exactly made what I consider quality games in the past (even though Contra IV looks really cool).

Well they said that it was "BRUTAL" the Contra games never seemed "Brutal" to me. Hell, I think the Mario games were harder.

What the...?
I'm too tired to tell if you're being facetious or not. :?
I can't recall any Mario game that was harder than any of the Contra games so I guess you'll out do me at Contra IV then.
