Anyone Recomend some Shopping Cart Software?

Post by Mechblue »

I've been working on a site and have loosely messed around with shopping cart software. Went with the free software called Open Cart and so far it functions how I'd like; but it has some bugs and glitches don't seem to ever get resolved. So I'm looking for recommendations of cart software that is worth spending some cash on. I really don't know much PHP so its possible I'd need support from the company at times. I'm not looking to spend a fortune but a bit on some good software.

I just need a bump in the right direction before I search blindly for something good.

Thanks.

The easiest one I know of to just pick up and use is Yahoo's Store service. I think Google has one also.

Not that they'd be what I'd do, but I can understand just wanting something reliable up and running.

Software, no. Possibly helpful scripts, yes. I've been using jquery on a lot lately. There are helpful tutorials out everywhere. I haven't used a shopping cart one yet, and I don't really know if this is what you're looking for, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

The first example on the page is for a Paypal cart. Don't know if that's what you're using, but I know its a bit of a standard. If you click the image and go down to the example it gives a working example, the code, and spells everything out for you. Plus, it tells you how you can customize it. Win Win.

Thanks for the suggestions. Some one else had suggested the Yahoo cart, was trying to get some ideas before I considered going with that.

I was thinking more of cart software like the racketboy store.
