Nintendo exhibition in Chile

Post by JF »

Hello,

A couple of friends and I were at a Anime Exposition in Santiago of Chile with a Wii themed stand (because we were representing WiiChile, www.wiichile.com, a chilean portal for Wii fans).

In the stand there was a place for nostalgia I would like to share with you.

Here it is the nostalgia exhibit:

Hope you like them.

Best regards

PS: My friend Afrokid was one of my friends in the stand, He is registered in Rackeboy forum, too.

Interesting!
Let my legs shake me to sleep, and don't wake me when I sweat on my sheets.

Pretty cool, thanks for sharing!

What is the yellow thing in the second pic that looks like a toolbox? a pong machine?

Is that the club nintendo from chile? the logo looks a lot like the mexican version from the early 90's but the mexican version didn't take over latin america until the early 2000's, I'm no club nintendo expert but can't remember seeing that cover.

The two Marios shaking hands is a very cool touch

Hello Pullmyfinger,

The toolbox is actually Nintendo's first home console: TV GAME 6, and yes it is a color pong released in 1977 only in Japan.

Yes, the Club Nintendo is from Chile. It started a couple of months later than the mexican one, and share a lot of content. Eventually it was replaced by the mexican one, as you said.

Thank you for your interest.

Best regards
