Has with a Blaze VGA box ever turned their Dreamcast on with the box connected only to not have any signal, and the VGA box power LED not light up?

Does anyone know to test the internals?

Unplug and plug back in the cable connector to the Dreamcast a few times might help. Sometimes the pins at the video connector do not make a good contact.
