New intense action game for SNES (WIP)

It has nonstop action, tons of onscreen enemies, and even a multijointed boss.
There is no slowdown even when the action is at it's peak, which I know is a rarity for an SNES game. All running on a stock 3.58Mhz 65816. No FX chip! No SA-1! No DSP!
This version is unfinished. The final version will be much better. With better graphics, more levels and more variety in enemies and gameplay.

Anyway, I will post some screenshots. After I finish my homework, I'll add a pause button so I am actually capable of taking a screenshot without dying.

The gameplay looks intruiging and the main sprite looks cool. Is that an air dash?

Should I post an update, or will it spoil the gameplay?
-enemies fire their own fire balls at the player
-there is more of an explosion animation
-there is a beginning of a second level
-there is a theme song
Is that enough for an update? I'm working on a second level boss right now, and it will take a while to make. It will be a giant mechanical centipede.
