What is your height/weight and are you happy with it
I was always 20-30 pounds overweight throughout high school and into college. Not obese but def. heavier than I wanted and insanely self conscious about it. So about 2 years ago I made the decision that if I was only going to live once, I WOULD be happy with my appearance.
I took the starvation/alcohol diet and now measure in at 5'10 157 as of this morning. For those who question the longevity of just stopping eating and keeping it off, it's been just over 2 years and I've actually had to put on a few pounds because I got too thin. Trimmed up my hair and started dressing sharp and what do you know, the attention from girls increased as I expected.

Like I said in another thread, I used to be very overweight and am now a shrimp. Went from 245 to 130 in about 6-8 months via tons of exercise, depression, and drastic diet change. I'm 5'10.
Now I'm closer to 140 since I've fixed my diet and am happy there. I feel pretty healthy.

Ahh. To look like a crack head but not be one. Na, it's also got a lot to do with how you carry your weight. I got down to 148 but it didn't look good on me. My face looked poor. I've gotten lots of compliments right where I'm at so I'd like to stay right here.brunoafh wrote:Like I said in another thread, I used to be very overweight and am now a shrimp. Haha, it's funny, I don't look like a crackhead, but the only photo of me on this site makes me look like a crackhead (intentional because it's a Halloween costume pic).

the only thing about shedding pounds is buying a new wardrobe, from top to bottom. But it's worth it.

Re: What is your height/weight and are you happy with it
I recently quit drinking soda and other sugary drinks on a regular basis. While I haven't lost anything (only started recently) I've already noticed that when I do drink a soda, I've generally had enough by the time the can is empty. And I seem to have completely lost my taste for sweet ice tea (it tastes too much like syrup now.) I don't know my precise weight because I don't have a scale, but my height is 5 '08.
The nice thing about the way I'm built is that even if I became thin, I could keep all my shirts. I'm long waisted, so I will always have to wear a size XL shirt if I want it to be long enough.

Switching to water was my first and most important choice, even more so than the food I chose to eat. You can lose 10 pounds right quick like by boycotting soda's and tea. It's an easy fix.BoringSupreez wrote:I recently quit drinking soda and other sugary drinks on a regular basis. I am 5'9", 145 pounds. Been roughly the same height and weight for about 10 years now. I am content. Could be more fit, but I do not work out.. Lazy I suppose.
I drink water and tea and not much else. That's just what I like. No strict diet. Just eat and drink what I like.
