Pastime Legends vs Jay Street Video Games
I recently got a Retron 3 for Christmas, and I want to stock up on games for it. There are two retro game stores in my area, Pastime Legends (http://www.pastimelegends.com/) and Jay Street Video Games (http://www.jaystvideogames.com/). I've been to both, but I haven't bought anything, so I'm wondering which one is better?

Their selections are pretty similar but I like Jay St. better; the dark haired guy usually behind the counter at the Colonie location is hilarious and knows his stuff alright. It seems like every time I'm in Legends the clerk is looking for some kid's held game; disorganized. But lots of CIB games so if that's your thing. Jay's two locations I think is their secret weapon, lots of merchandise. All the local game stores that cater retro are expensive around here so beware of being taken advantage of, especially on trades for cash.

Ah. You did mention that two locations is Jay Street's secret weapon, but I'm pretty sure Pastime Legends has two locations as well. Though that doesn't really matter for me, as one of their stores is pretty far out, in Scotia.

Wow, Capital Region natives?
I work in the same mall as one of Jay Street's stores and have always found their prices in both locations to be very fair. The staff is always friendly and that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
Pastime Legends I don't get to as often. Its a bit more out of the way and some times some unforeseen occurrence closes them down off schedule. I tend to have a pleasant time when I do go, but the "Lark" Element sometime seeps in and the customers screaming at the employees can make things awkward
