I went to trade in some wii games at my favorite retro game store that are worth 60.00+ in value on videogamepricecharts.com and I wanted trade value so I can get some games for my kids and brother for xmas. The guy check's the wii games out, looks online and tells me and I quote" These games are too rich in blood. They came out in 2009. I can't take these" .WTF? TOO RICH IN BLOOD? 2009? This store has retro games and system's from the 80's and 90's games that are 50.00 and up to 100.00 and he refuses me.
I always recommended them and now F$%K them. I am never going back. I wouldn't mind soo much if he went a different route but I never ever heard such a thing. You know what I will just stick to ebay and hell they did me a favor I can save money and actually beat my games I have before buying anything else. Better yet I can go to the gym after I get out of work than rushing to the store to find out what they put out for games
I can't believe what just happened to me

I don't understand... What the hell does "Too rich in blood" even mean?
Was he trying for "Too rich for my blood"?

You mention they are a RETRO game store. Do they sell Wii games and accessories? May be too new?mas wrote:I went to trade in some wii games at my favorite retro game store that are worth 60.00+ in value on videogamepricecharts.com and I wanted trade value so I can get some games for my kids and brother for xmas. At least the guy was honest with you.
The only retro store here is much worse. Took him a ton of ps1 rpgs, including some nice rare titles, and was offered $1 a disc.
And then they sell super mario world for $50

He obviously means he was going to pay him with his own blood, but he didn't have enough. Maybe he donated earlier that day or something.KDub wrote:I don't understand... What the hell does "Too rich in blood" even mean?

@aaron: they sell video games and purses, and there are tons of animal cages in the back.
Has to be a front for something.
Edited due to retardarion on my part.

Re: I can't believe what just happened to me
Maybe they have monthly bills coming up and don't have the buffer to take those in just in case they don't sell enough to comfortable cover a bill in the next few days. I think I'd rather hear that they're not taking stuff in right now instead of being offered pocket change too. There are much worse things that could have ruined your day or you could have received an insulting offer. Seems more like first world problems to me.
