Sega Genesis Glitches

I didn't see a topic for this already, so I guess everyone can post their Genesis glitches here (If it is okay with the moderators of course).
Now for my glitch:
I found a glitch in Altered Beast in which you can have unlimited lives. You need to use the Sonic and Knuckles add-on connected to Altered Beast into your console. When the "No Way" screen comes up, remove the Altered Beast cartridge ONLY. Shortly after, remove the add on, and replace it with Altered Beast alone, while leaving the power on. Then, after Altered Beast is in, reset your system, then prepare to rise from your grave. You should have a glitched life icon, allowing you unlimited lives, but the only drawback is you are very fragile.
*NOTE - Racketboy is not responsible to any damage done to your Genesis. Cart yanking may possibly in some rare cases damage your console. Yank at your own risk.

WHOA!

I actually tried this and it worked. That is actually pretty cool and I hope to see more genesis glitches.

By fragile, do you mean that you die in one hit?

I've read about other things you can do by yanking and swipping carts on a Genesis while the power is on. However it isn't exactly good for your system to be doing so.

I have an old Gamepro book for the genesis that has this. Yank the cart tricks.
Its where you put one cart in, turn it on, and remove and put another game in it.
I've never done this and I dont think I want to do it. What would the potential long term damage be? Genesis are already 20+ years old and If you find one, you really wouldn't know if the owner before it was a 'yanker'
Well maybe since they are easier to get now and if you have some spares you could do this.
But I will never!

Yeah, you only have one little life dot and you die in one hit. But, you still have unlimited lives.

Yeah I actually discovered it on accident. I was just messing around with my friends crappy Genesis 2 at his house and figured out that the cheat works every time. He didn't really care too much that I was "yanking" his Genesis. And this was my first discovery of a glitch. Also, I honestly have never read or heard about any glitch like this.

Cracka! my genesis model 2 was a good deal. I still think model 1s are way better though. the yanking wont really hurt it bad. But i don't think it is good for a long happy life. I still think it was worth it to find that glitch.(I am vgmaster's friend mentioned in his post)
