Oh man. FedEx came this morning to deliver my Mario Kart but I didn't hear anything and no one else was home to hear anything, so they didn't deliver it. I hate that. Just fucking leave the package at the door.

I didn't feel like waiting for tomorrow, so I drove out to the Fedex shipping center and picked up my package myself. Gonna open it and start playing now. It has a red case. (^_^)

I played single player for an hour or so until my battery died. Mario Kart 7 feels very similar to Mario Kart Wii. You can do tricks off of jumps for speed boosts and the mini turbos work the same way, sadly. It's really difficult to play using the 3DS controls because the 3DS itself is very small. You have to hold 2 or 3 buttons down most of the time, so it quickly becomes uncomfortable.

I'm making a new post this time, lol. Maybe more people will see this. Even if you guys don't get your game for another day or two, you could post your 3DS friend code now anyway.

I played about 6 online races yesterday and it was pretty fun. I am still a bit sad that this game is based more on luck and less on skill. On the other hand, the courses are great and I like the addition of water and air based mobility.

I'm looking forward to this weekend when the American version is out, and we start doing community races.
