in all honesty, you spend $2 and buy another cart.

I am not sure if this is worth the effort. I pic might help clear up where it broke as well.

Indeed, a picture would be helpful. If you mean the dust door, that doesn't matter. If you mean the connector pins, then there's nothing to repair. The electronic bits inside are just a single chip on a board. There aren't even any capacitors or anything else in them. If the cart needs to be opened to work on it, you have to peel up or poke through the front label to get at the screws. As said, unless you're really attached to that particular cart, I'd just get hold of another one.

yah. nothing much you can do for that one.

Go and buy another one.

Just for fun and nostalgia open it up and see what a classic computer chip looks like.

But one thing you gotta look out for is acually Activision carts. The two plastic parts on the side of them tend to break or fall off with too much force. Granted they'll still play, but its just one of those things you cant unsee. If you know your cart is broken, it kinda bugs you.

There are also some other carts that are poorly made as well and those feel flimsy even when you insert them into the atari.

Why a whole new post on your Atari purchase?
You already mentioned the Pacman cart problem at your 2600 Thread. Check your other thread for the Pacman cart repair.

Maybe a Mod can merge these?

As far as I can tell from that picture there's nothing wrong with the cart. You're seeing the cart dust flap around the white end of the board. If you look in the system there are 2 prongs that will slide in the 2 holes which will release the dust flap so it pushes in when you insert the cart.

Since you are new to the atari, I'd suggest picking up Ms Pacman as a replacement. I find it more enjoyable, you might also!
