Found a Mario Brothers arcade- Should I buy it?

Hey

I found this Mario Brothers arcade cabinet for $500. I really enjoy the old school Mario Brothers game but its not the Wide Body cabinet which is kind of disappointing. Is $500 still a good price for the DK conversion cabinet?

Trying to figure out if Mario Bros. will go well with my Donkey Kong, Neo Geo, and Mrs. Pac Man :)

Thanks all!

$500 is usually the top price I am interested in for most arcade games (icons and pinballs are the exception). Do you have pictures or know the history? $500 for a Mario Bros it should look fantastic and have no issues whatsoever. Honestly I would pass unless it is immaculate. It is a really fun title, but thats a good chunk of money for it.

$500 would be for a great condition setup.
The game itself is not that rare.

Bargain with the seller. Chances are, no one's jumping on this thing and they'll be willing to talk. Never hurts to ask. If it's a private individual (as opposed to a dealer), they might just want the damn thing out of their house, and they pulled $500 out of the air.

I had a wide body one for several years that I sold just a few months ago. I paid $250 for it and that is exactly what I sold it for eventually (after several failed attempts to sell it to people that were "extremely interested" ). It was in mediocre shape but it was functional. So yeah, for $500 it better be in fantastic condition.
