n64

Those are my top 3 retro conole's hooked up and my own opinion of the top 5 games that I think people should get if they get these system's. What are your top retro system or system's hooked up and your opinion of your own top 5 must have games for each system. Can't wait to read your thought's.
Top 3 retro console's people are playing right now
Re: Top 3 retro console's people are playing right now
Ive been sadly not playing anything retro for several months now. Mostly due to the fact that everything looked butt ugly on my TV's. But just yesturday I got a new CRT TV after not having one in several years, so I hooked my gamecube up and I plan on playing through some of that backlog as well as my Gameboy Advance games on the GBA player.

I've been mainly current gen lately, to be honest. But when it's retro it's been Dreamcast, Saturn, PS2. And at least one of those systems isn't very retro.

A lot of PS3 for me lately, but I definitely play my Genesis at least 5 times a week. Favorite console of all time, the games just never get old.

Game Boy (Original/Color):
The Game Boy is my absolute top favorite gaming platform. The original GB and the GB Color are the only games I collect nowadays. I've gotten up to 55 games in the past 5 months.
Top 5 favorites are Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel, Donkey Kong Country, Zelda Links Awakening, Wario Land, and Mega Man V.
Sega Saturn:
I have a White Japanese Model 2 Saturn, which has been modded. This is my favorite home console, since I am a total ham for shmups, and those niche sprite based games from the early 90's. I love the arcadey games, the bizare/awesome games like Panzer Dragoon, Fighters Megamix, and Radiant Silvergun. Rich in color, fluid with quality, charmed with simplicity. And of course, 10-player bomberman
Top 5 are Radiant Silvergun, Virtual On, Darius Gaiden, Nights into Dreams, and Guardian Heroes.
Dreamcast:
It's the god damn Dreamcast.
Top 5 are undecided, since I have not delved into the library enough to name a top 5. This console deserves better than that. My top 5 I have played so far are Power Stone, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Half-Life, Shikigami No Shiro II, and Capcom vs SNK 2.
