Mine is simple: My favourite games are endless. And they are very goo so they always roam around, killing the competition. How many games can compete with this lineup?
Civilization
OpenTTD
Beatmania
Team Fortress 2
Not many. Portables provide me with some variety but with all four of my DS broken it has been months since I played anything on them.
What are your excuses?

Re: The reasons you never beat your games
Usually when I'm playing RPGs I'll get stuck and quit, but nowadays I use guides so I don't get stuck as often.

Re: The reasons you never beat your games
I play games to have fun, so when they start feeling like more of a chore to play through... I'll usually stop and comer back to it in a few days. But sometimes... it can be much longer, like 6 months
I just have too many good games. That's my other excuse

Re: The reasons you never beat your games
Generally if I don't beat a game, it's for one of three reasons:
1. I get stuck somewhere.
2. The game is too darn long, and I lose interest.
3. I take a break, and it's too long so I forget where I'm at/what I'm supposed to be doing next.

The reasons you never beat your games is College. College interferes with my life, periodically i play games including arcade games. some arcade games that have no real ending unless you crash the system like pacman or donkey kong. After college is over I will beat my games.

Re: The reasons you never beat your games
I usually get obsessed with a single game and play it for a long time, forgetting that I have a huge list of games I should beat sometime.
Last week I got into The Binding of Isaac and since then I've logged 46 hours into the game. I've beaten it 13 times, unlocked a ton of stuff and still haven't gotten over it.
My other games are just taking the backseat right now.
