HOSA components are low in price but sold in most stores. When I used to work in a music store, I did not see something going straight to dual XLR. You would need to use a 1/4" converter then use a splitter to get your dedicated left and right on the xlr side. That's actually the best option for what you need without using an external audio interface via usb such as an MBOX or MAudio unit. This way you only have one cable between the source and speakers. The cable is cheap, so if you do not like it than you are not out too much cash. The Rokit 5's are good speakers for the price. I don't know your purposes for them, but they are flat response and have great ranges for mixing.Lodestar wrote:

There are so many variables when recording and mixing. If you want improved results than you must get an interface with xlr outputs for the speakers. Also, I'm a musician, or was...I fell out of the hobby, but now I want to get back into making music. I wish this model went down to 20 kHz, but that's asking too much for a 2.0 sans the subwoofer. I hear KRKs are a bit muddy in the low end, so I will have to think about that when mixing.
