Wow,
Microsoft announced both REZ HD and Ikaruga would be released for Xbox Live Arcade. They did this during their pre TGS press conference. I really hope they see worldwide release. REZ HD is reason enough to own an Xbox 360. I'll endure RROD for that.

(Just do Ctrl+F to find Rez, for example)
Seems to be official.
I think that's a pretty good line up for them!
Ivo.

Wow -- that's crazy
Too bad they didn't do Radiant Silvergun instead.
At least everyone can play Ikaruga on the Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Wii.
Radiant Silvergun is still a Saturn exclusive.
I guess that still gives Saturn owners something to brag about, but bringing the games to new players should be important.

I'm guessing the ports are easier to do from DC than from Saturn - that's probably the main reason.racketboy wrote:Wow -- that's crazy

I trust we will one day see a port of RS though. It makes too much sense, so it should happen.
Ok -- just posted this on the blog.

Especially considering XBLA prices are pretty low.GagaMan wrote:Wouldn't this be great if it brought down the value of the original Dreamcast releases? I would love to own Ikaruga and REZ but don't want to pay crazy money for them when they'r gonna be about a tenner on X-Box Live.
The Gamecube and PS2 releases of both games were still pretty rare, so they didn't help the situation much.
XBLA downloads are infinite
