Here's a look at the awesome adapter that lets you use a GameCube controller on the N64. This thing is pretty damn cool.

Re: GameCube to N64 controller adapter review
Sounds good! I always thought they would need a chip or something not a simple cable. Whats under the hood the the bubble in the middle.
Anyone know how to make one? I have a Gamecube extension cable so I have a GC Female, is it simple to reproduce?
Is this adapter just Cube64?

Re: GameCube to N64 controller adapter review
What's "under the hood" as you call it is a conversion circuit board that adapters the GameCube controller inputs into the N64 standard. Think of it like a translator that translates what the GameCube controller is saying into the language the N64 can understand, and doing so in about 64 or so microseconds (less than one single frame).
Therefore, this is NOT a single cable. However, if you want to build one yourself, Raphael does indeed sell just the pcb. Get it here: http://www.raphnet-tech.com/products/gc ... egory=Kits
As for the Cube64, I've never heard of that. What is it?
