Any tips on collecting every n64 game

I am seriously thinking of collecting every n64 title. I already own 100 or so and I believe I am half way there. I just want the u.s release. I just want to know if anyone has collected every n64 game. How long did it take? Should I get all the rare games first or the 3 dollar games or so first. Any help with this would be great. Thanks

are you going for complete in box or cart only? as long as you have the money to get all of them (u.s. release). doesn't matter what order you get them, but it's always good to get the best price for it also.

There's also finngamer, who owns (almost) every single n64 game, console variant, controller, accessory, etc released, all CIB. All he's missing is a single japanese exclusive.

I ask this just out of curiosity. Why do some people like having ENTIRE collections for a particularly console? I mean, wouldn't that include a lot of crappy games?

Some people are just wired that way. I know I am and I've found a lot of games that I assumed were crappy and weren't by collecting everything. It's just fun (to me)!

Well, from a collecting standpoint, the quality of the games does not matter. The collection is not complete until it is complete, regardless of game quality.

For me personally, I like "crappy" games because, actually, I find that I really enjoy some of them -- and love defending them, with people who have never actually tried them and just assume they are bad from their reputations. The Terminator on NES is a good example of a game many people assume is terrible because of the AVGN episode but, in all actuality, is not bad; or, at least, not nearly as bad as one may first assume.

I am just going to get the carts only. No complete games or system. I think the n64 is the easiest system to collect for since it's probally the cheapest. I just have one system and I may get another but I do have 3 controller's for me and my kids to play.

Clay Fighter Sculptors Cut is the highest priced game at under $70, so yea that is way cheaper than any other system's rarest game. Then Worms Armageddon and CBFD are the next rarest coming in at under $50.

he's 1/3 of the way there and none of them are very rare, hell i got CBFD cib at a goodwill for 5 so they can't be that rare.
