Halloween Multiplayer

Post by the7k »

Hey guys, planning to throw a Halloween party soon with a focus on gaming. It ain't a party if it's just people playing by themselves, so help me make a list of multiplayer Halloween games and the systems they appeared on!

Here's what I can think of off the top of my head...

Darkstalkers series (PS1, Saturn, Dreamcast)
House of the Dead series (Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox, Wii)
Zombie Revenge (Dreamcast)
Left4Dead series (X360, PC)
Dead Nation (PS3)
Burn Zombie Burn (PS3)
Unholy Wars (PS1)
Cotton 2 (Saturn)

Any help would be appreciated!

Obscure and Obscure: The Aftermath (PS2 & PC) are two of the only multiplayer survival-horror games.

Also, there are a number of FPS horror-themed games like the F.E.A.R. series (XBox360, PS3, PC) or Killing Floor (PC).

If you have a Guncon2, then there is Vampire Night on the PS2.

October is my favorite month by far, my birthday is about a week before Halloween also. I have so been thinking of this and also wanted something new for my Naomi so I would love to get Zombie Revenge to celebrate Halloween with. I just don't know if I can swing it in time. Dang this year has flown by.

Oh wow, I didn't realize that Vampire Night got ported. Yeah, I'll definitely get that.

Anyone know if Dead Island has local multiplayer? Even System Link might work.

What about Rampage or Rampage: World Tour for Halloween? Also, Killer Instinct has skeletons and werewolves - is that Halloweenie? Also also, wasn't there a head-to-head Puzzle Fighter-esque Castlevania game? Mortal Kombat with Freddy...

So far, I'm thinking the line-up I'll be aiming for will be:
Vampire Savior (Saturn)
House of the Dead 2 & 3 (Wii)
Vampire Night (PS2)
Zombie Revenge (Dreamcast)
Dead Nation (PS3)
Onechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad (360)

Let's hope I can find some good and cheap TVs on Craigslist, or get people to actually bring TVs this time.

Anybody else find it a bit strange Resident Evil 5 hasn't been mentioned yet? I might add this to the line-up as well, although it might not be 'instant-gratification' enough for a party.

I might play some cheesy horror movies on a TV for laughs. Uwe Boll's Alone in the Dark?

Biozombie

Not only is it a fun bad movie, it harkens back to the good old kung-fu days when the bad dubbing actually makes it better. Also there are game references.
