Any Suggestions?

Post by christopher85 »

I feel like buying a new game to play so what are some current gen games worth investing my hard earned money in, preferably for the 360.

What do you guys suggest?

How about listing what you've played first?

You may want to be more specific. Are you looking for a 2011 release (ie. something to pick up new) or just a current gen game you've not played and may be able to pick up cheap? Do you have any preference genre-wise? What games have you already played? Are there any genres you don't like? And what kind of time commitment are you wanting, are you looking for a 40+ hour epic of an 8-10 hour quicky?

I second Mass Effect.

You can get both Mass Effect 1 and 2 for 40 bucks or less, and you'll be all set up for the third one when it comes out early next year.

I'm on an Assassin's Creed stint at the moment, so I'll suggest that.

seconding Mass Effect 1/2, 2 being the superior game, but you kind of need to play 1 to know what happens. The Dragon Age series is great too.

I've heard nothing but good about the new Deus Ex game, so maybe you should try that too.

These are a few that I have in my collection that I recommend, if you haven't played them already:

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare
Dead Rising 2
Left for Dead 1 & 2
Section 8
Star Wars: Force Unleashed
Transformers: War for Cybertron
Crackdown 1 & 2
Splatterhouse
Super Street Fighter IV
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
