Idea for a 3D platformer

A colorful 3D exploration-based platformer where most things are attainable til reaching 100%, but after 100%ing the game, you are told that there are even more x-type of items to collect in order to reach 150%, or something like that, and that you need to look "beyond the game" to find them.
You basically have another half of the game featuring new boss fights and new levels that are only accessible by hacking the game. Use of a gameshark or whatever would be encouraged by the game itself, and what you would wind up with is a large team of people trying to find new hacks and solve the mystery of the entire game.
Someone should totally do this before cheating devices become obsolete.
