*Sometimes*
Title kind of sums it up, I'll "refresh" the monitor or whatever, double check all the settings, turn it back off and on, but it stays completely dim usually until I reboot my computer again. It just randomly happens sometimes though and so I have no idea what could be causing it, hopefully the monitor isn't going bad or anything?
EDIT: Rebooted and it's fine.
I'm on Win7 by the way, I wonder if it's some program in the background causing this off and on? Not. It is honestly very rare, but yeah I just wonder what's causing this.
