Hi everyone.
First ket me just thank everyone for telling to keep the n64 and get some great games.
I have been saving nes for over a year and now that i actually have a nes system I wanted to play some kung fu. And I find out it's missing!!! I looked everywhere. I saw it on my shelf about 2 weeks ago and it's gone!!! How does this happen? It's like the socks in the dryer. You know if you dry a pair you only get one back!!!
I wouldn't mind if it was a quarter or a gba game and it was a crappy game, no big deal but a nes game? it's freaking large! wtf? Am I the only one this happened to?

You mean "lose", right?
To answer the question, nope, never. Someone stole a game from me in the 7th grade though, that bastard.

I don't think so, but I lost my Gran Turismo 4 strategy guide ages ago.

The other day while cleaning out my brother's old SUV I found my long lost GBA copy of Breath of Fire II. Though it was accidentally tossed years ago in a move. Never mounted much of an effort to find it though, cause I only paid a few bucks for it and disappointingly mistook it for a Fire Emblem game. Still surprised to find it after so long.

Yeah, I lost my NES edition GBA SP with the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past like 6 years ago at my little brother's birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese. I don't really remember how I lost it. Mabey I left it on the table and it got stolen, or mabey I just left it there. I will never know.

I've just plain lost a game before, but never permanently. The game that stayed missing the longest was Vietnam: Black Ops (this was a different Black Ops game that the one we know today. This one was horrible, and came out in 2000 for PC). It was lost for a year, and then my dad found in in his bill rack one day. I still have it, although I haven't played it for at least 5 years.

X-Men 2: The Clone Wars for Sega Genesis. It has to be here somewhere and I can't freaking find the thing.

Please correct your spelling on the topic, OP. I mean no offense but 'loose' means your pants fall down. 'Lose' is what you mean.
And to answer the question, yes. On a deployment once Megaman and Bass just up and vanished on me. I clearly remembered putting it away but I never saw it again. It was a 3 month deployment and I was REALLY counting on having that game...

Two, unfortunately.
I lost both Mortal Kombat on Game Gear, and Blades of Steel on Nes. It still pisses me off, particularly Blades of Steel. I really liked that game.
I haven't replaced them because I'm still holding out a stupid hope that I'll come across them again one day, stored somewhere ridiculous.
I can only assume they were lost during one of our moves when I was younger, but when? Who knows.
If I do still have them, they're somewhere in my dad's house. I poke around and look for them occasionally, but while I've discovered a lot of long lost stuff from my youth, including some other gaming related things, I've never been able to find those two damn games.

No, but I know how frustrating it can be nonetheless. I lost a cassette tape and it still pisses me off. I know, it's just a tape, but still, it's the principle and when it was lost it was worth a pretty penny because CDs were still new and expensive (still could be, I don't know).
It was the original printing release of Metallica: Kill Em All, their first album that Dave Mustaine from Megadeth did a lot of writing on. Apparantly the original printing was rare or something, which I found out when I went to a used shop to trade it in, and then decided to keep it when they told me that. I still have the case and artwork, but not the tape itself. And to whoever stole it, if that is the case, it's worth nothing to them either without the artwork so WTF?!
