Help with Toast Titanium

Post by RCBH928 »

I got an avi file that I wanted to convert to a DVD
so i used toast titanium 10
and it took something like a 1.5 hours to make the conversion then rip the dvd...

but the end quality sucked. the video look so pixelated and squashed. it had subtitles which were unreadable.

i tried this before and got the same result.
Can any one tell me what am I doing wrong?
i chose automatic encoding with BEST option

but i got something totally crappy, its unwatchable...
any idea?

Convert the Avi to MPEG-2 using Handbrake, set the quality settings to use 4.5GB maximum. Then when Handbrake has finished transcoding, burn the MPEG-2 file to DVD-R using Titanium.

Note: You MUST use MPEG-2 as your format when converting in Handbrake, otherwise Titanium is going to transcode the video file into MPEG-2 (the video codec that DVD uses) and make it look like shit.
