i have been reading some articles lately about daezamon2 on sega saturn and noticed some people make their own shmups with this and were released on the net.
does anyone know where to get a hold of these shmups?

This game has been on my want list for awhile now. Pretty cool idea to make your own shumps.
From what I recall, madroms made the game save manager thing that has other peoples creations on it.

Yeah, I've gotten these to work. You'll need a memory cart that you can read directly from (action replay 4-in-1 will not work) or one of the Saturn floppy disc drives. Also a modded Saturn so you can boot up the save game manager CD-R to transfer the files. Some of the games are really incredible with full intro/cut scenes and great music. And because of the engine everything is totally playable even oddities like the Super Mario Bros shmup

Now I am definitely going to have to mod chip a Saturn! To bad I sold my official save cart, I didn't think I would ever need it again. I watched a few videos and can't wait to try some of these.

I have Dezaemon 2 in my Saturn library. Apparently, you need to know how to read Japanese in order to know what you are doing. Who woulda thought! lol So yeah. It continues to collect dust on my shelf. :/ You can play two default shmups that were created by the makers, I'm guessing. They're both okay.

Dezaemon Kids (PSOne) is where it's at! I heard that it's better and easier to use than Dezaemon 2.
