Customized Fighsticks Template thread

Post by Captainvans »

I don't know if this is the right forum section so excuse me in advance.

So I know a lof of us love the retro arcade feeling and we love to play with fighsticks, another thing we love to do is to customize them! whether is adding custom artwork, buttons etc..

feel free to show your fightsticks! and if you make templates, share them!

I made this one not long ago since everything I saw was MVC3.

Here's the template for anyone who wants to download it, it's a PSD file with all the layers and the correct measures for printing.

It's an image I like a lot, they used to have it in the arcade dashboard where I used to go when I was like 7, it sure brings back memories.

I've always wondered how you print images larger than 8.5x11? The stick I made just used a regular sheet of paper. Do you guys print these bigger ones at kinkos or something?

My next stick I wanted to make a bit wider so my hands aren't as cramped.

Yeah after designing the template just take it to a fedex kinkos and print it out, I used semi laminated paper with adhesive in a 11 x 17 paper. It just makes it a big sticker, that way there's no need for a plexi glass.

You should definitely try one of these sticks they're really confortable on the hands and very customizable, you can find some on craigslist for about a $100.

That's pretty cool. How much does it cost? I'm probably going to build a psx stick (so I could just buy adapters for other consoles). If I get another one for 360 i'm def going to get that one.

The printing costs around $5 dollars. The one I have is the PS3 version, you can use it both in the console and the PC for stuff like emulators.
