Virtua Fighter 3tb for Dreamcast Problems

I'm having some weird problems with my copy. First off the loading can randomly be slow. On minute it loads just finely, but then it can take minutes. Sometimes it will actually follow through with the loading after a long time of waiting, but other times it will go straight back to the Dreamcast main menu.
I know it isn't the actual Dreamcast because I have other games which work fine on it and you can play for hours with no problems. Of course I also checked the actual disk, not a scratch ,smudge or any dirt in sight.
I'm stumped, anyone have any advise?

Maybe it is your GDR drive that needs calibrating, or it could be going out? Does this happen on any other games? I also had this problem with Half-Life mods, it all depends on how they are burnt though. The thing on those though, was that I would get an error whilst loading after the Sega logo. I assume you are using an actual GDR though correct?

Yeah its a legit PAL copy. Also as I said I'm having absolutely no problems with any other games expect one, although that one is scratched to shit so that makes sense. Virtua Fighter 3tb disk is pristine though

Your Dreamcast is rejecting it because of how much it wants to forget that installment of the series.

since you said everthing else works fine i bet its just the game disk itself even if it donest look scratch someone at the gameshop or store probably use a buffer on it and just made the problem worst
