SCART RGB to YUV converter connection problems

Bought one of these converters about a month ago: http://tinyurl.com/3wl2yof

My problem is the input connection... a lot of times when i first start it up i get monochrome or magenta color (like the converter is not picking up the R, G, or B)it takes a lot of moving the SCART cable around to get it to output RGB.

I'm pretty sure the problem lies in the converter itself, as i've used a few different SCART RGB cables (all from Rob Webb) and they're all touchy when it comes to outputting RGB.

If anyone out there with knowledge about these converters (or RGB SCART for that matter) could you please try to help me out?

Okay, i'll check it out. It gets really frustrating having to mess with the cables every time i want to play a game.
