Does anyone know where I might be able to track down the above?

I picked up the cart for £1 yesterday but the "tutorial" mode in the game doesn't actually teach you anything but is meant to be played with the supplied instructions apparently.

I'm slowly figuring out some things but the controls are different to the old Amiga game i played and I can't figure out what all of the little icons actually do. If no GB instructions exist online then does anybody have a link to a visual guide of the icons on the original and what they are for. I've looked at some FAQ's but they don't tell me much about what the icons they are talking about look like.

yikes, that's gonna be tough. Populous GB was a Europe-exclusive. I'm not really sure where to even start to look for a scan of the manual...

I know...there is next to no information about it on google which only brings up something called "Populous Gaiden" which I'm not sure is the same thing or not (I thought it might be the Japanese name for it). That's why I'm looking for a visual guide for the icons in the original version so I can work out if they are the same.

If any Populous experts can assist me the game is available here in flash format so people can see what I'm talking about:

yeah I'm sorry I think Populous Gaiden was the Japanese release. At any rate, your best bet is probably just to find a manual for sale on ebay or something. I doubt you'll find a scan anywhere.

Unfortunately the manual will probably more expensive to obtain than the game, ruining my bargain points! :lol:

Perhaps I should seek out a scan of the PC manual and see if it will work as a guide to the icons at least.
