Next Piece of Hardware

What should it be? It's been a while since I've gotten one (not counting my recent Wonder Wizard (Pong-dedicated console)). You can see what I have already in my signature. I don't want to spend more than $100, and the closer to $50 the better, otherwise I'd be getting a PS3 or a Neo-Geo Home Console.
The ones I'm thinking about:
-3DO
-Neo Geo Pocket Color
-Atari Lynx
-Sega 32X (but I'd need that stupid rare cord because I have a Model 1 Genesis)
Which one would you get? What's good about it? If there's something I missed that you think fits my means and I should get, let me know why. Thanks.

http://www.amazon.com/Neo-Geo-Pocket-Co ... 447&sr=8-1Neo Geo Pocket Color. NIB for $60.
I love this thing. I got it on a drunken whim and it turned out great. The version of SNK vs Capcom for it is easily as much fun as the home console variants. It also has some entries for all the big SNK series' that feel very true to the spirit of the originals.

You really need to get a neo geo pocket color. I think it may be my favorite handheld out there.

Neo Geo Pocket Color. Definitely. It's a great little console with fun games. I love the little joystick. It's so "clicky"...

Another vote for Neo-Geo Pocket Color!! A fun handheld with some great SNK classics like Metal Slug and fighting games.

I love the 32x, but the answer is clear.
Get the NGPC.

Neo Geo Pocket Color all the way!

The King of Fighters R2 is one of the best fighting games ever made!!
I just loved how customisable and collectible the game was.
Samurai Showdown 2 was brilliant as well with those collectible cards.
I actually have 2.
(My little bro broke the first one by headbutting it in rage (he has autism and back then he couldn't control his rage so well), so I bought a second one that was one of those pack in ones with carts (I got Pocket Reversi, Pac-man, Fatal Fury first Contact, Metal Slug 1st Mission, and a second cart of King Of fighters R2), for about £40 a few years back).
EDIT: one of these:

A brilliant little console with a small, but very strong library.
If anything it was a suprisingly influential console, what with the GBA being similar in design, and the DSi/3DS having built in extras.
(Plus you have to love the boot-up tune!)

All of those have pretty small libraries. You might want to consider a classic 8-bit computer. An Apple II or C64 with a box of floppies and the right cable to hook it up to your PC will keep you entertained for a very long time.
As another way to go, you might look into an Everdrive or Super Everdrive for your Genesis or SNES, and get more out of the systems you have already.
From the options you've given, I'd honestly go with the 3DO over the NGPC. About half the games on the NGPC are vs. fighters. I find that gets old quick. The 3DO gets a lot of shit, but it has a lot of classic early CDROM era games. Stay away from the more egregious FMV titles and there's a lot to choose from.

Since you have interest in a PS3 or Neo-Geo console, I think the wisest decision would be to save your money for one of those instead of buying another piece of hardware you might not end up using very much (I can't see someone spending hours with the Lynx). If you just feel like something new, I'd probably agree with everyone else and say the Neo-Geo Pocket.

NGPC, no contest.
