Sega Nomad DC Input troubles.

Every AC Adapter I place inside my Sega Nomad works fine between my Model 2, Model 3, and Sega Nomad. Except the tiny bent metal sensor next to the conductor isn't making proper connection every time I move the cord accidentally that's coming from the AC Adapter. Is there any way to get around this problem so it doesn't automatically shut off all the time?

Upon looking further, it seems it's been pushed back further than it's suppose to be. Could be an easy fix for all I know.

The socket is likely a sealed unit so opening up the Nomad won't help. But if you empty out the batteries and whatnot maybe you can use a toothpick or a bent paperclip to carefully pull the leaf forward and up so it makes tighter contact.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot.

Update: I tried it out and it's still giving me the same troubles.

The Nomads are notorious for having bad solder joints on the Dc plug.

Every one I have modded I had to resolder the pins to get the Dc adapters to work properly.
