StarFox Shadows OF Lylat - Fangame

So instead of waiting on Nintendo, fans took an existing engine (Freespace 2) and created their own Starfox sequel. It is supposed to be released in the near future.

Gameplay doesn't really look like Starfox to me. That's what I hate about people re-doing classics, they don't seem to know WHY those games were classics and I have been burned by a few remakes lately

When this project was first announced I didn't even have a computer capable of running it, but now I do! Yay!

Looking at the gameplay video, I'd say this game looks almost exactly like the space battle sections from Star Wars Battlefront II. It may be reasonable to assume that's just the multiplayer mode though.

Personally, I'll reserve judgment until I see more of the campaign mode.

I feel the same way Dylan, the clips I have seen of the rail shooter parts look very poor. Free range arcade space sim though...I can forget it is supposed to be Starfox for that.
