a few pics...
A little somethingh I've always wanted so thought I'd make mytself one.
Custom made casing, real internal zip drive (not wired in as yet but very pointless anyway without software), a real USB socket.
Ignore the Dreamcast, it's kinda faded an old (it's the one from my 4 year old little boys bedroom

)
Oh and the little bit on the side of the Dreamcast is the overclock switch
With my dual analog controller

With my mainly used Dreamcast

Just a fun project - NOT the real prototype that sold for $10,000 (that I actually want lol)

Nice job. Is the Zip drive used by the Dreamcast or is it just for your PC?

Only thing I could see a zip drive for is as a massive memory card.

It was used for your internet data files like website cookies and whatnot among other things. It just made the internet browsing experiance more like the PC. With the Mouse and Keyboard, and the Sandisk adapter already out, if you ask me, the Dreamcast is like a mini-PC, and I love everything obout this unique console. There really never was anything else like the Dreamcast, it truely was ahead of it's time, and I am fortunate enough to have owned one when they were still new.

That's really neat. But it's not wired in any way to the DC?
